Ambiente is led by Mr. Kenneth Mavhunga, an experienced environmental professional with more than 15 years in public sector and specialised industry roles.
Kenneth leads a multidisciplinary team of experts, applying his qualifications that include a BSc in Environmental Management (Hons), a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences, and a Bachelor of Law (LLB), complemented by certifications in ISO 14001 auditing, environmental law, risk management, and environmental impact assessments.
He has served as a Chief Environmental Officer at the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment for over 15 years, where he oversaw compliance monitoring, environmental impact review, licensing of protected trees, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
His range of expertise includes water & forestry regulations, and land care projects through earlier roles in the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry and the Department of Agriculture in the Limpopo Province.
